What the platform provides

HealthMercy coordinates access to volunteer medical professionals, medical advice, counselling and donor support for eligible patients. Services depend on account approval, practitioner eligibility, location, service availability and volunteers choosing to help. Registration does not guarantee an appointment, a particular outcome or hospital funding.

Your account and information

Use your own accessible email and complete the verification and profile-review steps. Provide accurate information, keep your password and verification codes private, and follow the consent and eligibility requirements for the service you request. Some services have specific age or guardian requirements.

Use the platform respectfully. Do not impersonate others, submit fraudulent requests, share information you are not authorised to share or misuse another person’s account. HealthMercy may restrict access to protect users and the platform.

Medical and counselling support

Care professionals act within their approved role and practice scope. Follow the instructions provided by your care team, and seek local in-person care when advised or when your situation requires it. Online support cannot provide every type of examination or treatment.

HealthMercy is not an emergency service and requests are not monitored continuously. If you need immediate help, contact local emergency services or visit the nearest emergency department.

Donations and hospital bills

HealthMercy does not charge patients for its volunteer consultations and does not collect, hold or process donor payments. A donor commitment is a promise of support, not a payment through HealthMercy. Donors pay hospitals directly. Funding is subject to review and donor availability.
